Ok so I was just like, hypothesising what the 7 sins in TBoI are? And I was thinking, like, maybe they were human once but then idk if they died or just became horrible gruesome monsters for some other reason but basically what they were like as human corresponds to how they are as these monster dealies.

Like for instance, Lust would have been obsessed with her appearance and the pursuit of men. The items she drops when you beat her (the virus, roid rage, pills) suggests that some sort of substance abuse and/or illness stripped her of her good looks and then she became a gross mini-boss in Isaac’s basement, the end.
